A neighbor, who had their home built by Andrew, referred me to him for a major remodel that we were undertaking and he was one of five contractors I interviewed.  He showed up on time, gave me a detailed bid, and walked me through all the numbers.  He was one of two contractors that actually took the time to break out the bid so I knew where the money was being spent and his costs were very fair comparatively. Andrew put up with allot during our remodel...lots of change orders and having to problem solve with our structural engineer & architect when he opened up walls and found that things weren't according to plans. He completed the project on time and on budget (with the exception of those unknowns which are simply out of his control).  He's very pleasant to work with and is always responsive.  I'd hire him in a heart beat for my next project!

We were referred to Quality Builders through a mutual friend who worked in real-estate lending. From day one we knew we had selected the right contractor. Being 'newbies' to home remodeling we had many questions and concerns which were patiently and thoroughly gone over by Andy through the entire process. I can sincerely say that there were no 'last minute' surprises as many of the potential concerns were outlined upfront in an honest, straight forward manner which allowed us to budget adequately. Every sub-contractor involved in the job was similarly top-notch caliber, professional and most importantly, extremely sympathetic to the distributions that live-in remodeling can create. Likewise, any questions we might have had about a particular process was always relayed through Quality Builders to the sub-contracted crews. Andy was present OFTEN and took ownership through virtually every major step of the remodel- from drawing up plans, to handling city permits and inspections. Our second story remodel was complete on budget and ahead of schedule. We couldn't have been more pleased. Quality Builders even came out for a few followups over some minor issues which ended up being unrelated to the construction, still Andy assisted us with any help he could provide to ensure our complete satisfaction. True story: we had a family friend that had also begun a similar second story remodel in Long Beach during the same time as we had contracted Quality Builders. The couple had made mentioned their was bid cheaper and faster than our Quality Builders estimate. We were moved into our new up stairs and settled MONTHS before their job was completed. Their remodel ended up over budget, with sub-par workmanship and accompanied by headaches, frustration and a contractor which would never returned their calls. Choosing the right contractor is extremely important if you value your sanity and bank account. Quality Builders is just that- QUALITY. You will not find of more ethical, honest and prideful contractor in Orange County. A contractor who actually cares about your happiness. I'll always look back at the time we worked with Andy during the three month remodel as a really great time. How many people can say that about construction?

I have used Quality Builders (Andy Wood is the owner) for three major remodels of our house. I can't say enough good things about Andy. The quality of work is exceptional. For each remodel, Andy completed the project on time and within budget. He and his contractors are very professional and show up on time.
